Where did the Hebrew language come from? Why is it called Hebrew, and not Jewish or Israeli? The book ‘Eber’s Tongue — The Journey to Hebrew’ goes back to Eber, the biblical character that gave his name to the Hebrew people, but was left behind throughout history, and dives into the journey of the Hebrew language, from the days of Abraham, to its revival at the state of Israel.
